Support GCA?

GCA is a voluntary organisation that works to promote healthy, happy and resilient communities, free from harm caused by alcohol, drug and mental health issues.
We offer a range of services to individuals affected as well as those impacted by a loved one’s alcohol or drug use, including one to one counselling, employment
support, education, wellbeing groups and peer volunteer programmes.

We are open to anyone in Glasgow and the surrounding
areas and currently run a mix of programmes aimed variously at young people, adult survivors of trauma, those affected by gender based violence and the LGBTQI+ recovery community.

Would you like to support GCA’s work supporting families, individuals and communities by reducing the harm of alcohol and drugs? Donate and make a difference?

There are lots of ways in which you can support us.
Fundraise for us. Anything goes! Whether you’d like to hold a bake sale, climb a mountain, or jump out of a helicopter, we’re here to help. Just get in touch with us and we’ll provide you with all the support and materials you need to achieve your fundraising goals.

Regular Giving: There are many ways in which companies can support GCA. Regular giving is really important to GCA. If you’d like to set up a monthly gift to us, please contact us on 0141 353 1800. We won’t hassle you to increase your gift – ever. And we’ll send you as much or as little information as you like – you decide.

Fundraising Ideas: Set yourself a challenge in 2022 and raise funds for Glasgow Council on Alcohol’s vital work supporting people who are experiencing problems with alcohol misuse. Your support will help us to continue our life changing work in and around Glasgow, providing education, counselling and practical support to families who need our help.

Legacies: Would you like to help someone get their life back after you’ve gone? By remembering GCA in your Will, you can do exactly that. A gift left to GCA will help us to support more individuals and families on their path back to health and happiness. And it’s not complicated or difficult to do – just contact our fundraising team who can advise you.
