COSCA Group Counselling Skills
This course will give participants the opportunity to build on their previous learning of counselling skills in a one to one setting. Primarily, it will assist participants to develop their knowledge and use of group counselling skills. The course is structured around themes and issues related to the life-span of a group, using the beginnings, middles and endings approach that will be familiar to those who completed the COSCA.
What will I learn?
This course provides a professionally recognised qualification and a thorough grounding in the practical and theoretical aspects of running a group using group counselling skills. The focus of this course is the development of participants’ counselling skills within a group setting. The course will give participants the opportunity to build on their previous learning of counselling skills in a one to one setting. Primarily, it will assist participants to develop their knowledge and use of group counselling skills. The course is structured around themes and issues related to the life-span of a group, using the beginnings, middles and endings approach that will be familiar to those who have completed previous COSCA modules 1-4 or equivalent.
How long will it take?
This module lasts approx 40 hours of study.
How much will it cost?
This module costs £350.
25% payment is due prior to commencing the course and the remaining 75% must be paid in full prior to the end of the course. This can be paid in instalments to spread the cost.A certificate will be issued by COSCA on successful completion of the course.
Where does the training take place?

When does the course run next?
6:00pm – 9:00pm on Tuesdays and 9:30 – 4:30pm on Saturdays
